Psych (Hons), MA, (HF & SMS) - Qld Committee Debra Sutton-Smith - Qld Sarah Gardiner - Vic Teri Welch - WA (a) Sue Sherratt (Chairman): The website. (b) Allanah Connor (Vice Chairman and Policy Maker): Start Up Grant from The Lung Foundation. This grant is intended to be used for practical start up requirements such as stationery and hosting for new patient support groups within six months of their creation. (c) Denise Testa (Treasurer & Medical Advisor): Creating documents about various issues in relation to vitamin D and lobbying in relation to various issues pertaining to vitamin D. (d) Ivan Hooper (Medical Advisor): Ivan is involved in many scientific studies pertaining to various aspects of vitamin D. (e) Elaine Kelly (Secretary): Creating documents about various issues in relation to vitamin D and lobbying in relation to various issues pertaining to vitamin D. Other Projects: 1. Vitamin D Working Party: A Working Party on vitamin D has been formed, comprised of Ivan Hooper, Denise Testa and Elaine Kelly. Work has already commenced in relation to lobbying against vitamin D being added to the food supply. A simple-to-understand fact sheet for patients and doctors explaining vitamin D and its complications in Sarcoidosis, Lyme and chronic disease is to be created. Suggested Future Lobbying Issues: 1. Lobbying Centrelink to acknowledge and allow Sarcoidosis and Lyme Disease as causes of disability. 2. Lobbying for reinstatement of the Chronic Disease Dental Scheme. 3.
